Excellent turnout at the opening session of CIT11-ED11

This initial session of the event was a fine start to the conference. In attendance were Antonio Ávila, Regional Minister of Economy, Innovation and Science from the Junta de Andalucía; Fernando Rodríguez Villalobos, President of the Provincial Office of Seville; and Richard Fuchs, President of the Global Telecentre.org Foundation, Juan Francisco Delgado, from Consorcio Fernando de los Ríos y Sebastián Muriel, Red.es.

Over a thousand attendees filled the auditorium at FIBES, Seville’s Conference and Exhibition Centre. Until 25 January, it is set to be the venue hosting this must-do date with collaborative innovation and development, representing Andalusia’s international commitment to users of telecentres worldwide.
